What We Believe
We believe
in God…
who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In God who is perfect, almighty, all-knowing, omnipresent, holy, truthful, unchanging, good, without beginning or end, and who is love.
in the Father…
who created the entire world and, out of love, established physical laws that govern the behavior of matter, moral laws that define what is good and evil, and the laws of logical reasoning. The Father has eternally been a father because He eternally has a Son.
in the Son…
who has coexisted with the Father from the beginning and became a man who lived a sinless life. Jesus, in His death on the cross, took upon Himself sin, overcame evil, and reconciled us with God. Through His physical resurrection, He conquered death and gave life to all who trust in Him and His work. The Son ascended to heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for the church.
in the Holy Spirit…
who proceeds from the Father and the Son and points to Jesus and His work, convincing the world of the need for salvation. The Holy Spirit brings us to repentance, regeneration, and union with Christ. The Holy Spirit seals our salvation, reveals God, guides us in life, empowers us for godly living, and has endowed the church with various gifts for ministering to the church and the world. He often works in a supernatural but experiential way for people.
in man…
created in the image and likeness of God, who was deceived and ceased to obey God. Humanity was meant to experience blessings in relationship with God, but due to the fall and personal lack of trust and obedience to God—sin—this experience is limited. The fall caused man to be separated from God and unable to return to Him by his own strength. This separation is spiritual death.
in salvation…
for every person who trusts in God's way of salvation through Jesus Christ. Salvation from spiritual death is received by grace and cannot be achieved through good works, religious rituals, or moral behavior. This salvation is called eternal life and cannot be lost, ensuring a permanent connection with God.
in transformation…
of a person who has trusted in Jesus. From the moment of receiving grace from God, a person becomes a child of God and is seen as such by God. Children of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, undergo transformation in their behaviors, attitudes, and actions, becoming more like Jesus Christ. Through faith, they act in ways that please God.
in the church…
which gathers the children of God into one family that supports, builds up, and encourages faith in God. The assembled church worships God, shares the good news, serves each other spiritually and materially, and serves those not in the church by pointing to the gracious goodness of God. The church manifests in local congregations also called churches.
in revelation…
of God which is written in the book called the Bible. God breathed His Word, and people wrote it under divine influence, making God's Word certain, true, and the highest authority on the matters it addresses.
in eternity…
which will follow the return of the Lord Jesus, who will separate those who remain in spiritual death from those who are children of God. The former will face eternal separation from God in a place referred to as the second death, while the children of God will joyfully experience God's eternal goodness and love in the New Heaven and New Earth.
In the 1970s, Pastor Terry Virgo began visiting various churches and home groups in the south of England to seek God's presence together. People were hungry for God's presence in their daily lives, and soon many of these groups grew to the point where new churches were established. After several years during which people enthusiastically preached the gospel, met at conferences with thousands of people and began to create new songs of worship, the Newfrontiers movement was born.
Over the next two decades, the movement began to spread beyond Great Britain to the European continent and, consequently, around the world. Many new churches began to be founded and some independent churches joined the movement. Many missionaries were sent around the world and the family grew to over 1,500 churches in the first decade of the 2000s that were still actively preaching the gospel.
Our History
At the beginning of the second decade of the 21st century, one of the churches in the movement, Emmanuel Church in Brighton, was given a vision of 5 new churches in 5 large secular cities of Western culture as the beginning of a new family of churches within the Newfrontiers. They began to pray for the right people who could take on this task. In 2014, Janusz and Kamila Lasz moved to Brighton to recognize God's will regarding their role in God's plans. God placed Krakow in their hearts as the city to which they were to be sent.
For over a year, we used to gather on Sundays at Smolki 8, where a group of around 10–15 people came together to join in worship, prayer, and listen to sermons.
We are excited to announce that our church has now moved to a new location at Rakowicka 27, Kraków, in the Grota 2 Club. We look forward to continuing our worship and fellowship in this new space, and we warmly invite you to join us.
